Leo Kalkiewicz

Sun Prairie -- Leo Kalkiewicz, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2010, at Willows Nursing & Rehabilitation in Sun Prairie. He was born on August 8, 1923, the son of Anthony and Mary (Koglowska) Kalkiewicz. Leo was united in marriage to Edwina Downing on January 6, 1984. He was a loving and gentile man who will be greatly missed.

Leo is survived by his wife, Edwina ""Lois"" Kalkiewicz; a sister, Eleanor Kalkiewicz; a nephew, Anthony Kalkiewicz; step children, Dennis (Joanne) Downing, Rebecca (Gordon) Morauske and David Downing; 7 step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Al and Coco Kalkiewicz. Private services will be held.
