Leon Nesheim

DeForest-Leon A. Nesheim, age 82, passed away from a long illness on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. He was born on January 18, 1929 in Helena, Okla. Lee was united in marriage with Nancy Scheel on September 13, 1969 in Madison. He was a longtime resident of the Deerfield area and most recently moved to the DeForest/Windsor area. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, DeForest and prior to was a longtime member of St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran, Deerfield. Lee is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy of DeForest; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Theresa and a niece, Beth. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church, DeForest with Rev. Erica Becker and Rev Jerry Olson officiating. Burial will be held in Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona at 2:00 P.M on Monday. Friends are invited to call on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to Christ Lutheran Church or to HospiceCare, Inc.
