WAZELLE, LESLEY JEANNE
Madison - Lesley Jeanne (Paasch) Wazelle, age 81, passed away on May 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison, WI. Lesley was born on Feb.15, 1934 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Herman and Helen (Sandburg) Paasch. Her family resided in Bristol, WI from 1934-1939 and Rhinelander, WI until 1947 before moving to Silver Lake, WI.

Lesley was a graduate of Wilmot Union High School and a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was married to Leo Wazelle from 1955 - 1975.

She began working as a switchboard operator for General Telephone in Wilmot, WI and continued her education with a series of banking certification courses. She worked for more than 40 years in the banking industry, retiring as a mortgage loan processor from FBOP Corporation in Oak Park, IL, where she resided until 2003.

Lesley was very dedicated to her work and enjoyed traveling and theatre productions of any kind. She is survived by her only daughter and son-in-law, Reba (Wazelle) and Kurt Heberlein of Madison, WI, sister Marvel Lee (Paasch) Dixon of Silver Lake, WI, and niece Bernadette (Dixon) and Dan Hurd of Madison WI. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Leo W. Wazelle and her parents, Herman and Helen Paasch.

A graveside tribute will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 4:30 P.M. at the Wilmot Cemetery, where Lesley will be laid to rest. The family can be contacted through Reba Heberlein, 4227 Mandan Crescent, Madison, WI 53711.
