Leslie A. Morrison

Stoughton- Leslie A. Morrison, ""Hoot"", age 102, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Stoughton Hospital.  He was born in Boaz on November 10, 1907, the son of Hugh and Mary (Brill) Morrison.  On April 19, 1952 Leslie married Evelyn Baldock in Janesville.  She preceded him in death in 2000.  Leslie worked for Gisholt Machine for many years retiring in 1971.  His hobbies included making windmills and fishing.  Leslie is survived by his sons, James (Jeanne) Morrison of Janesville and Phillip (Janet) Morrison of Canada; 19 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Hall of Madison.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Shaw.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Skaalen Home Chapel, 400 N. Morris Street, Stoughton, with Rev. James Koza officiating.  Burial will take place in Grove Cemetery in Footville.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.
