Madison - Lillian Lerner, age 98 passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014. She was born on September 30, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Marie (Mazanic) Sedivy. Lillian was the youngest of 8 children and lived the majority of her life in Cicero, Illinois. On June 25, 1949, Lillian was united in marriage to Edward "Ed" Lerner Sr. in Chicago, Illinois. Lillian will always be remembered by her sweet smile, gentle demeanor and warm heart. She will forever be remembered for her talent at cooking, baking and most of all her love for her family. Lillian will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her four children; Judy (Jerry) McElhany, June (Norman) Ascareggi, Edward Jr. (Chris) Lerner and Alan (Alicia) Lerner, ten grandchildren; Jerry McElhany Jr., Sherry (Charles) Duckett, Dave (Catherine) McElhany, Phil (Karen) Ascareggi, Jim (Bernie) Ascareggi, Jason (Valerie) Lerner, Trisha (Mike) Baker, Kelley Lerner, Nina (JP) McLendon and Alan Lerner Jr. and 14 great grandchildren; Charles Jr., Brandon, Meghan, Justin, Stephen, Alison, Maya, Grant, Skylar, Kendall, Jackson "Boone", Alan "Clark", Dayton and Mellody. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed in 2011, six sisters and one brother.
A date for memorial services in April is still being determined.
