MADISON/PHOENIX, ARIZONA - Lillian Rosenzweig, age 91, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona following a brief illness.

Lillian was born February 17, 1920 to Max and Libby Sweet in Madison, Wisconsin. Lillian resided in Wisconsin most of her life in both Madison and Milwaukee.

The joys of Lillian's life were her son, David and her grandson, Daniel whose accomplishments she would take great pride in. She would recall fondly growing up in the Greenbush section of Madison and her lifelong passion which was big band music and dancing.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Rosenzweig, her parents, Max and Libby Sweet, her sister Bertha and her brother Allen. Surviving Lillian is her son, David (Cheryl), grandson, Daniel of Glendale, Arizona, her brother, Sidney of Phoenix, Arizona and sister, Betty of St. Paul, Minnesota as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rabbi Joshua Ben Gideon officiating.
