Linda Aaroen

McFarland -Linda Aaroen, 69, of McFarland, departed on Oct. 20 after a short battle with Leukemia. Linda was born on Jan. 03, 1952, in Horicon, WI, the daughter of Horst and Norma (Zimmerman) Gerth. She married Ron Aaroen on July 26, 2002. Linda retired after 30 years from American Family she also worked many years at Romp’s Korner Inn. She enjoyed making and giving her sewing and crocheting crafts and sharing her love of baking and gardening with those she loved. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband, Ron Aaroen.; mother, Norma; daughter, Carrie (Scott)Johnson; stepson, Chris (Rachel)Aaroen; 3 grandchildren, Brianna, Cody, and Kyle Johnson; and her great-grandson, Desmond Johnson. She was also survived by her 8 brothers and sisters Carl (Gail) Gerth of Iron Ridge, Dennis (April) Gerth of Iron Ridge, Roland Gerth of Horicon, Chris (David) Schumacher of Fox Lake, Ernie (Phyllis) Gerth of Horicon, Wayne (Sherry) Gerth of Iron Ridge, Faith (William) Stroede of Mayville, and Monica (Dave) Roskopf of Iron Ridge. Linda was preceded in death by her father Horst Gerth.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday October 28, 2021, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland, WI.  Burial will follow at Town of Dunn Burying Ground.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
