Lisa Halverson

Stoughton- Lisa A. Halverson, age 54, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Stoughton on December 12, 1964, the daughter of Atwell Jr. and Joanne Volla. Lisa graduated from Cambridge High School, where she was active in Track and Volleyball, on Home Coming Court, and enjoyed fashion. She loved planting flowers in her yard, playing cards and games, watching movies, and being goofy. Lisa enjoyed being outdoors, spending time at the cabin, fishing, boating on the Mississippi, at Castle Rock or Lake Kegonsa, and traveling around the world. Most of all Lisa loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She took pride in decorating her home and made holidays and events extra special. Lisa was ambitious and dedicated, and always the life of the party. She is survived by her two daughters, Chalsie Halverson and Alissa (T.J.) Luchsinger; grandchildren, Lilly Kegler and Ragnar Luchsinger; her parents, Junior and Joanne Volla; siblings, Lynn (Scott) Doolittle, Daniel Volla, and Tara (Dusty) Matusiewicz; nephews and niece, Joshua (Kayla), Jenafer and Jordan Doolittle; great nephew, Corey; significant other, Ruby Sekhon; many relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles; and aunt. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton. Burial will take place in West Koshkonong Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of services Saturday.
