Lois Nelson

Lois Louise Nelson, 84, died on May 30, 2022, at Coventry Village in Madison, Wisconsin.  She was born on January 16, 1938 in Elgin, Illinois, to Ethel and John Lundy.

Lois and her husband, Robert P. Nelson, raised their family in Lombard, Illinois. After Bob’s retirement they moved to Prescott, Arizona. Lois was a Registered Nurse in Illinois and worked at the VA hospital in Prescott until her retirement. She moved to Madison in 2019 where she enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lois was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert P. Nelson. She is survived by three children, Sherry (Dwayne) Zawistowski, Kathryn (Tim) Askin and Steven (Janet) Nelson. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Lois will be missed by friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Victory Baptist Church in Mendota, Illinois.
