Lois M. Trinrud

Stoughton- Lois M. Trinrud, age 92, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Harbor House where she lived for the past seven years.  She was born in Edgerton on June 26, 1916, the daughter of William and Louise (Schmeling) Maves.  In September 1986 Lois married Kip Trinrud.  Together they enjoyed travelling, wintering in Arizona and spending summers in Wisconsin.  Lois enjoyed painting, gardening, flowers and fishing.  She is survived by her sister, Maxine Thompson of Stoughton; three step children, Dennis (Joan) Trinrud of Madison, Donn (Trish) Trinrud of Portage and Debby (Jerry) Haberkorn of Deerfield; five grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Howard Matson; two children, Barbara Crawford and Donald Matson; her second husband, Kip; and eight brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton with Rev. Richard Halom officiating.  Friends may greet the family from noon until the time of service on Sunday.  Burial will be held on Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park.  A special thank you to Hospice and the entire staff of the Stoughton Harbor House.
