Lori Burfeind

Lori Ann Burfeind passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at age 48. She was born in Reedsburg, WI to Lyle and Betty (Laukant) Burfeind.

Lori attended St. Paul's Lutheran Grade School and Wonewoc Center H.S., graduating in 1985. She went on to radio school in Tennessee to become a D.J. She worked in management positions for many fast food chains such as Cracker Barrel, McDonalds and Arbys. She returned to school earning an Associate Arts degree from the University of Phoenix. Her current employment was what Lori described as her dream job, offering technical support to its clients, at ImproMed. Lori enjoyed country music, horses, jeeps, the outdoors and all sports. Most of all Lori LOVED the Packers!!

Lori is survived by her parents, Lyle and Betty Burfeind of Wonewoc; 6 sisters; Carolyn (Jim) Madsen of Wisconsin Dells, Lois (Todd) Wolf of Madison, Connie (Paul) Burfeind of West Salem, Vickie (Bruce) Sachtleben of Sun Prairie, Pam Burfeind of Wonewoc, and Jean Burfeind of Madison; 1 brother, Ron Burfeind of Wonewoc; 1 niece and 6 nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 101 Church Street, Wonewoc, WI with Reverend Peter Snyder presiding. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service.
