Lorraine E. Anderson

Madison -- Lorraine E. Anderson, age 86, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Nazareth House in Stoughton. She was born on July 6, 1922 to Frank and Hulda (Johnson) Larson. Lorraine was united in marriage to Marvin W. Anderson, and he preceded her in death in 1990. Lorraine and Marvin lived on a dairy farm near Bay City, Wisconsin. She was a member of Eidsvold Lutheran Church in Esdaile, Wisconsin until she moved to Madison in 1991, when she became a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Sue (Jeff) Gaard; grandchildren, Andrew and Abigail Gaard; and a sister, Hazel Erickson. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister, Violet Nelson; and four brothers, Wilbert, Roy, Melford and Russell Larson. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at LUTHER MEMORIAL CHURCH, 1021 University Avenue, Madison. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at church on Friday, with Rev. Franklin Wilson officiating. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Eidsvold Lutheran Cemetery in Esdaile, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
