Lorraine  F.  Hanson, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.  Lorraine was born on May 9, 1919, the daughter of Edward and Pearl (West) Killerlain.  She met her husband, Bernard, in 1934, and they were married on October 29, 1935.  Bernard passed away on March 27, 1992.  Lorraine was employed by Oscar Mayer and Company for over 32 years until  her retirement in 1982.  She was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 538, and their retirees group, the Edward Foye American Legion Auxiliary 534, McFarland, the McFarland Historical Society, and the Bell Ringers Camping Group, and had held many offices in these organizations.  Lorraine loved  to play cards, and spending time with The Bell Ringers Camping Group.  Lorraine is survived by her two sons;  Curtis (Linda) Hanson  of Mission TX, and Kenneth Hanson, Fitchburg, two sisters; Mary (Don) Buckholz, Kathryn (Frank) Washa, three brothers; Bernard (Vivian) Killerlain, Gerald Killerlain, and Paul ( Virginia) Killerlain, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, an 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pearl Killerlain, her husband of 56 years, Bernard, brothers Leo, Richard, Phillip, and Pat Killerlain, and sisters; Della, Lois, a sister in infancy, a granddaughter; Theresa (Hanson) Tremmeling, and also many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Hwy 51 in McFarland, WI.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1128 St James Court,  Madison, WI., with Msgr. Thomas F. Baxter officiating.    Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Stoughton.
