Sun Prairie / Deerfield - Lorraine M. Krueger, age 87, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. She was born on the family farm in Marshall on July 1, 1924, a daughter of Emil and Dora (Bunke) Raether. She was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Krueger on August 15, 1945 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall. Together they farmed in the Deerfield area for 40 years. Lorraine is survived by 2 sons, Gerald of DeForest, and John (Sharon) of Okawville, IL; 4 granddaughters, Lisa (Matt Parsons) Krueger-Parsons, Laura (Drew) Hesker, Justine (Dominic) Faraone, and Renae Krueger; a grandson, Austin Krueger; 2 great grandchildren, Ellyson Hesker and Gabriel Faraone; a sister, Adella Rowaldt of Watertown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; 3 brothers, Charles, Arnold, and Gerald Raether; 5 sisters, Adeline Raether, Viola Beattie, Irma Gray, Caroline Keiner, and Fern Gossfeldt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 138 County Trunk BB, Marshall, WI, 53559, with the Rev. Paul Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Kroghville Cemetery in Waterloo. The family will greet friends at church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
