Lorraine Evelyn Lund

Stoughton- Lorraine Evelyn Lund, age 84, entered God's kingdom on Friday, May 1, 2009.  She was born on November 1, 1924, the daughter of Christ and Tilla (Femrite) Bothum.  On November 2, 1944 she married Melvin Nordahl Lund.  Lorraine was an excellent baker and was a cook for several nursing homes in Stoughton.  Her hobbies included a love for antiquing with her husband.  Lorraine is survived by two daughters, Muriel Lund of Park Ridge, IL and Marjorie (Everette) Christenson of Sharon; two granddaughters, Carissa (Robb) Rollins and Correna Christenson; two great grandsons, Mason and Nicholas Rollins; siblings, Robert (Irene), Donald (Theresa), Thelma Anderson and Roger Bothum; sister-in-law, Norma Bothum; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin; and siblings, Karen Lundeberg, Raymond, Alfred and Stanley.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton with Rev. Karen Bolton officiating.  Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery South.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 228 Martin Street, Sharon, WI, 53585.  A special thank you to the care givers at Williams Bay Care Center of Williams Bay.
