Lucile Ann Dahle

Dahle, Lucile Ann Stoughton- Lucile Ann Dahle, age 98, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Stoughton Hospital.   She was born on May 6, 1910 in Madison to Herman and Frederika (Suetmeier) Knabe.   Lucile married Allen F. Dahle in 1946 and they enjoyed 43 happy years together before he passed away in 1989.   She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stoughton and was active in her church circle, where she served as Treasurer for several years.   She was also an officer in the Eastern Star.   She loved to read, solve word scramble puzzles, and keep up on current events.   Lucile's family meant everything to her, and she was thankful for every visit.   Lucile is survived by her five children, Thomas Dahle of Stoughton, who was her caregiver up to the time of her death, Sharon (Mike) Bessette of Hudson, Marilynn (John) Jenkins of Middleton, Linda (Reginald) Johnson of Black Earth, and Marjorie Dahle of Stoughton; two grandsons, Darren (Jennifer) Miller of Stoughton, and Andre Bessette of Stillwater, MN; four grand-daughters, Lori (Russ) Robens of Hudson, Jessica Rieder of Minneapolis, MN, Lynn (Dan) Fiore of Stokesdale, NC, and Marie (Shawn) Connors of Stoughton; three great grand-daughters, Margo Miller of Stoughton, and Andrea and Jayden Robens of Hudson; six great grand-sons, Braeden and Gavin Connors of Stoughton, Alec and Evan Robens of Hudson, and Wesley and Owen Rieder of Minneapolis, MN.   Lucile was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters; Anita Aspnes and Gladys Myers; and a brother, Walter Alwin.   A private family graveside service will be held.   Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice   Olson-Holzhuter-Cress 206 W Prospect Ave Stoughton 608-873-9244 www.CressFuneralService.com
