Lucille M. Kleinheinz, age 90, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at St. Mary's Care Center. Â She was born on March 25, 1919 in Madison, the daughter of Raymond and Emma Esser. Â In 1936, Lucille graduated from West High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Â She attended the University of Wisconsin where she was a member of Sigma Epsilon Sigma Honor Society and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Â She was a secretary at Wisconsin Life Insurance Company for several years. Â On May 2, 1942 Lucille married William J. Kleinheinz. Â Lucille was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Carefree Years Club, Madison Elks Club, Madison Catholic Woman's Club, and the Alpha Omicron Pi Madison Area Alumnae. Â Lucille enjoyed traveling, and she and her husband traveled extensively. Â She was an avid Badger and Packer fan. Â She enjoyed playing bridge, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lucille is survived by two sons, Robert Kleinheinz of Monona and Larry Kleinheinz of Madison; four grandchildren, Matthew (Elise) Meagan, Andrew (Lara) and Peter Kleinheinz; two great grandchildren, Peyton and Brady Kleinheinz; a sister-in-law, Virginia Esser of Wauwatosa; three nephews, Peter (Judy) Esser, Clark (Julie) Kleinheinz, and John (Jane) Kleinheinz; a niece, Susan (Eric) Dunn; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Margaret Kleinheinz; and many cousins and friends. Â Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Â She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Donald Esser. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Ansfield who took such wonderful care of our mother, as well as the staff at St. Mary's Care Center. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Â Â A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Avenue, Madison, with Fr. David J. Greenfield officiating. Â A visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Â Entombment will follow at Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Â The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Madison, WI 53711.
