Lucretia Anne Patenaude

Lucretia Anne (Lue Anne) Patenaude passed away on Mon. Nov. 22, 2010. Lue Anne was born in Milwaukee to Walter and Helen (Malkowski) Wetzel on March 7, 1942. She graduated from Marquette University in 1963. Lue Anne worked for Cook County Dept. of Public Aid for two years and Catholic Social Services for six years and she was a Teachers Aide at Midvale Elementary Public School for several years. Lue Anne married Errol Patenaude on May 8, 1965. They raised their family in Madison. She enjoyed fishing, reading, football, going to casinos and she was an avid NASCAR fan. She loved her trips to Charleston, SC and surrounding areas. Lue Anne is survived by her husband, Errol; her daughter Ellen (Larry) Brinkman and grandchildren, Jessica and Jared and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas in 2009. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Mon. Nov. 29, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p. m. at CRESS FUNERAL SERVICE, 6021 University Ave. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Marys Hospital and HospiceCare for their care and compassion shown to Lue Anne and her family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lue Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
