Lynn Louise Maurer

Lynn Louise Maurer, age 53, of Waunakee died on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The former Lynn LaSurs was born on March 5, 1957 in East St. Louis, Ill. to Dale and Cecile (Fayollat) LaSurs. She married Ross Maurer on June 11, 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri. Lynn graduated from Collinsville Illinois High School in 1975 and began working as a legal secretary in St Louis. Lynn and Ross lived in Waunakee where Lynn owned and operated a design service, Classic Interiors until her illness. Survivors include her husband, Ross; son Aaron; daughter Kaitlyn; mother Cecile LaSurs of Collinsville, IL; sister Suzanne Treloar of St. Louis, MO; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Russell Maurer of Beaver Dam; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Harry Keehn of New Berlin; cousins Kevin Kueker and Scott Kueker both of Collinsville, IL and Shawn Kueker of Shiloh, IL; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale LaSurs.   A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee.   Winn-Cress Funeral Home Waunakee 608-849-4513
