What made her truly unforgettable wasn’t just the fun she brought—it was her deep kindness, her unwavering generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.
A passionate tennis player and coach, Mitzi shared her love of the game with others both on and off the court. She was deeply involved in USTA events throughout the state of Wisconsin, not only as a competitor but as an active and beloved member of the tennis community.
She also treasured traveling with her lifelong friends. Whether it was the buzz of New York City, the sunshine of Palm Desert, or a cozy night at her favorite local spot, Eno Vino, she embraced every moment with joy and style.
Mitzi is survived by her two brothers, Gary and Greg; her nieces Aleasha, Sarah, and Melissa; her nephew Jason; and 9 cherished grand-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many close and dear friends who felt like family. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Gordon and Jean Rice; her grand-niece Louisa Hale; and her dear dog Brandy.
