Marc Anthony Merucci

Marc Anthony Merucci, age 43, of Waunakee, passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, of a heart attack. Marc loved his family and created a family wherever he went. To those who knew and loved him, he was a very caring person, passionate about life and having fun, he lived life to the fullest. Marc was 100% genuine, a Badgers enthusiast, easy going and loved the outdoors. Marc was willing to do anything for anyone. His smile was contagious. Marc grew up in Michigan, attending Detroit Catholic Central High School and Adrian College. Marc moved to Madison in 2004 to open a Little Caesars franchise. After selling Little Caesars he went on to become operations manager of Two Men and a Truck. He viewed his co-workers as his family. Marc is survived by his father and mother, John and Christine Merucci; daughter, Kenzie; sister, Nicole Merucci; fiancee, Sue Klein and her children Jim, Jonathan, Michael and Megan , grandmother Rose Merucci, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   He is preceded in death by grandparents John Merucci, Stanley and Helen Forfinski A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WINN-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5785 Highway Q, Waunakee. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Waunakee.   A trust fund has been established for Kenzie's education at State Bank of Cross Plains, Waunakee.
