Marcella E. Ripp

RIPP, MARCELLA E.  
Marcella E. Ripp, age 86, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in St. Mary's Hospital.  She was born August 10, 1923, in Cross Plains, the daughter of William and Catherine (Faust) Dahmen.  On October 21, 1943, Marcella was united in marriage with Peter L. Ripp in Cross Plains.  
In addition to her husband Peter, survivors include 10 children: Donna (Delwin) Breunig, Harry (Ann) Ripp, Evie Schuetz, Rita (Dan) Endres, Leo (Becky) Ripp, Gary (Shirley) Ripp, Vic (Nancy) Ripp, Al (Shari) Ripp, Dennis (Patty) Ripp and Mary (Mark) Ripp; 33 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 sisters:  Sr. Catherine Ann Dahmen and Mathilda Ripp.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Joe (Cyrilla) Dahmen,  William and Jerome Dahmen; 2 sisters: Hildegarde (Reynold) Boehnen and Rosemary ( Eugene) Garfoot and  numerous other brothers and ststers-in law.   
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, February 20 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH,  7121 Cty Trunk K Ashton, with Father Eugene ""Bud"" Hollfelder officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 3 -- 7 pm Friday at the church and again from 10:00 am until time of Mass Saturday.  Memorials may be given in Marcella's name.  Marcie's strong faith, beautiful flower garden, unforgettable meals and family gatherings will be with us forever.  Mom, thank you for the beautiful sunset!
