Marcus R. Haley

Marcus Ryan Haley passed away unexpectedly on September 5th 2024 at the age of 38. He was born on March 12th, 1986 to Vaughn and Elizabeth Haley.

Marc is survived by his father, Vaughn Haley; his brother Nik Haley; his sister Elizabeth Giesen (Ryan); his nieces and nephews Harper Giesen, Graham Giesen, Lennon Giesen and Jennings Giesen and many other relatives and dear friends. 

Marc was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Haley and his grandfather, George Haley.

Marc graduated from Sun Prairie high school and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force. Marc bravely served three tours in Iraq and devoted a majority of his early twenties to proudly serving our country.

Marc’s childhood was filled with hockey tournaments, countless family vacations in their family RV and his endless love for dogs. He leaves behind his two Great Danes, Harley and Athena. Marc found joy in the simple pleasures of life like going to see a movie, working with his hands on his cars and motorcycles and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Marc was a kind soul and a friend to anyone he crossed paths with. Marc will be deeply missed by all of his loved ones but is now reunited with his beloved mother, Beth.

Marcus will be brought to his final place of rest in a private service at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove.  You are welcome to share your memories on Marcus's tribute wall.
