Margaret, also known as Penny or Peg, born in March of 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, died peacefully with family by her side on December 20, at Waunakee Manor. Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband Andrew R. Henry, the father of her two daughters, Janice Fuss and Teri Henry. She worked in Madison for over twenty years as an executive Secretary at Rural Insurance and Madison National Life. In April of 1981 she married Vernon F. Frank at Medinah Country Club in Chicago. After their wedding, Penny and Vern moved to Florida where they enjoyed retired life. They were members of local country clubs, helped stage musicals and volunteered at numerous PGA tournaments both in Chicago and Florida. She met Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Phil Mikkelson.
She and Vern returned to Madison in 2001. Vern died shortly thereafter. Penny resided at Independent Living for the next 8 years and developed a wonderful set of new friends. In failing health she relocated to Waunakee Manor Nursing Home, and her family wishes to thank the entire staff at Waunakee Manor for the wonderful care she received.
She is survived by her daughters: Janice (Thomas) Fuss and Teri (Fred Dodnick) Henry; her grandchildren: Shana (Chad) Wuebben and Jason (Michelle Morton) Fuss; and great grandchildren: Jacob Wuebben, Hailey Wuebben and Shelby Martin.
Penny gathered lots of friends with whom she stayed in contact throughout her life. She made many close friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
