Stoughton- Margaret D. Kleven, age 91, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Harbor House in Stoughton. She was born in Knapp, WI on October 13, 1919, a daughter of John and Lucille (Richards) Flattem. Margaret was united in marriage to Sanford Kleven on April 8, 1939. Together they farmed in the Town of Dunkirk for over 40 years. Margaret was a hard worker. She loved being outdoors and working with her flowers, and also enjoyed handwork such as hardanger, knitting and crocheting. Margaret was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stoughton. She is survived by 2 sons, Roger (Shirley) and Arnie (Paulette) Kleven; 6 grandchildren, Sherry (Clay) Simon, Dale Kleven, Bobbi (Ron) Vosberg, Michelle (Dave) Lunde, Gary (Melissa) Kleven, and Mark Kleven; 4 great-grandchildren, Madeline, Amelia, Natalie and Grace; a brother, Donald Flattem; and two sisters, Vera Harried and Marion Blabaum. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and 5 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church, 310 E. Washington St., Stoughton with the Rev. Richard Halom officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery South in Stoughton. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
