Margaret Jean Steffenhagen / Otting

Margaret Jean Steffenhagen/Otting, age 84, of Madison, passed away Aug. 2, 2010 at Waunakee Manor, surrounded by her loving children.   She was born May 5th, 1926, to Irwin and Mary (Dodge) Weber.   She is survived by her 5 children, Jim (Chris) Steffenhagen, Bob (Judy) Steffenhagen, Tom (Claire) Steffenhagen, Peggy (Archie) Meyers, Laura (Jon) Johnson; 2 stepchildren, Robyn and Derf Otting; 9 grandchildren, Mark Steffenhagen, Lindsay (Brandon) Volley, Brent and Jeff Steffenhagen, Andy and Katie Steffenhagen, Mike (Katy) Rakow, Ryan Johnson and Zach (Marzena) Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren, Georgia and Addison Volley, Aiden and Tyler Rakow; sister Lois Babcock and a niece and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Lauris Steffenhagen in 1995 and her second husband Fred Otting in 2000.   Funeral services will be held on Thurs., Aug. 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 5763 CTY Road Q, Waunakee.  Friends may call at the church on Thurs. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.  A private burial will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee.   Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.   The family wishes to thank the staff at Waunakee Manor for their kind and loving care and support.
