Sun Prairie--Margaret M. Schneider, age 91, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at home. Â Â Margaret was born October 30, 1916 in the town of Vermont, near Black Earth, WI. Â Margaret was the daughter of Patrick and Mary (O'Connell) Deneen. Â Â She married Arthur W. Schneider on December 27, 1941 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mt. Horeb, WI. Â Together they farmed in Sun Prairie, WI and were blessed with 6 sons. Â Art and Margaret both loved dancing. Â They were members of many dance groups including being selected to part of ""The 4 Hits and their Misses"". Â Margaret was a charter member of the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Â She was very active in many church activities including heading the annual Hot Cross Bun baking held on Palm Sunday. Â In addition to helping at church, Margaret also volunteered her time at the Red Barn and the food pantry in Sun Prairie. Â Margaret is survived by 5 sons, Jerry (Kay) Schneider, Larry (Pam) Schneider, Leo (Barb) Schneider, Mike Schneider, Jim Schneider (special friend Diane Zuravle); 9 grandchildren, Terrie (Rick) Hanson, Deb (Joe) Strauss, Lisa (Wade) Riniker, Pat (Erin) Schneider, Renee Schneider, Scott Schneider, Tonya Schneider, Tara (Adam) Fell, Jenna Schneider; 8 great-grandchildren, Michael and Will Strauss, Ethan and Mac Riniker, Addy, Graham, Maggie Schneider and Katelyn Schneider. Â Â Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1994 and a son Joe in 1963. Â She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters, Wilfred Deneen, Phillip Deneen, Eileen Howard, Helen Sutter and Monica Deneen. Â Â Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Â A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Â Â A luncheon will be held immediately following the service with burial to follow. Â The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Diane Zuravle and HospiceCare, Inc. for their care and assistance these past few weeks. Â Â In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either HospiceCare, Inc. or St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
