Margaret Parthena Studesville

September 14, 1925 — December 12, 2008

Studesville, Margaret P. (Hall)

MADISON-Margaret P. (Hall) Studesville was born on September 14, 1925 in Wetang, Illinois to William and Eva Hall. She was the eighth child born to this union. Margaret moved to Madison, Wisconsin from Madison, Illinois to join her husband Alfonso in 1948. Together they made Madison their permanent home to raise their family. Margaret worked at University Hospital until she retired in 1987. She was saved and was a mother of the church at Fountain of Life Christian Center. Margaret departed this life peacefully on Friday December 12, 2008, at age 83 while in HospiceCare, Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Margaret was a very stylish and fashionable dresser when she went out either shopping or to church. She was well known for her matching suits and stylish hats. Each year she enjoyed attending the family reunion to visit with family members that attended from around the country. Those that had the opportunity to get to know her will remember her sweet personality, smile and wonderful cooking. She leaves us with cherished and precious memories of love and support. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Studesville, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Still living are Vivian Williams, Madison, WI. and John (Dorothy) Hall, Cahokia, Ill. She leaves behind to cherish her memory four sons: Alfonso (Janet) Studesville of Madison, WI, Larry (Jan) Studesville of Madison, WI, Orlando Studesville of New York, NY and Donald Studesville of Madison, WI; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs at Fitchburg HospiceCare, Cress Funeral Home, St. Mary's Hospital and Dialysis Center for all the services they have provided. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Alex Gee, Jr. will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at FOUNTAIN OF LIFE FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER, 633 W. Badger Road, Madison, with a visitation held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
