Marianne Walters (known to her friends as "Wally"), daughter of the late Julio and Stella Lonardi (née Zorzi) born on September 19, 1924 died August 4, 2021, at the age of 96. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Kathy), Diana Ferrante (Michael) and Charlene; as well as grandchildren Joseph, John and Catherine Ferrante, sister, Florence Schaal and many loving nieces and nephews. Born in Landisville New Jersey, she graduated from Somerville HS in Somerville, NJ. During WWII, she served as a Nurses Aid in Turnersville, NJ. She attended New York business college and graduated with a degree in accounting. She married Charles Walters on April 15, 1951 and resided in Hillsborough, NJ before moving to Madison, WI in 2010. She began her bookkeeping career in Bound Brook, NJ and continued as bookkeeper with C&F Metals until her retirement.
Services will be held in Blessed Sacrament RC, Madison, WI and Hillsborough, NJ. Internment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manville, NJ. The family requests any donations be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
