Marie Wartolec

Madison-Marie A. Wartolec, age 80, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Madison, WI. She was born on November 17, 1940 in Cambridge, MA. She attended Cambridge Grade School and High School from 1946-1954. Marie went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology while attending Emmanuel College in Boston, MA from 1958-1962. She then received her Master’s Degree in Biology from UW Madison in 1978. Marie’s professional career was spent working in the medical laboratory at Meriter Hospital, taught biology and science at Monona Grove High School from the late 70s to the early 80s.  She also helped her husband with his business of Real Estate Investments and Management.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH,  401 S. Owen Dr., Madison, from 10-10:45 am.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am.
