She rented a lake house annually so all of the family could spend time together. Her spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She graduated from Baraboo High School Class of 1947 and Milwaukee County Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart, Herbert G. LeMoine on March 25, 1951.

Marilyn worked as a RN at that time in private duty, the hospital and lastly at Doctor's Park Clinic. After 33 years, they bought land outside of LaValle/Reedsburg and built a home where they resided for 17 years in the beauty of the countryside. After Herbert's death, Marilyn moved to Verona to be near her children.

She is survived by four children, Michelle "Shelley" (Brian) Bazala, Mary LeMoine Sprague, Melinda (Robert) Funseth, and Michael (Amy) LeMoine, one brother, James (Janet) Schroeder, sister-in-law Judy Schroeder, twelve grandchildren, Melissa Vesperman Schlegel, Amy Bazala (Ben)Hoffmann, Mac (Katie) Vesperman, Sarah Sprague (Andy) Napgezek, Matthew (Tina) Bazala, Jennifer Bazala (Peter) Johnston, Cassie LeMoine (Hans) Benson, Christine Sprague (Brad) Moldenhauer, Justine LeMoine (Jake) Braun, Cole (Lauren) Funseth, Hallie LeMoine (Patrick) Holtan, and Neil (Kim) Funseth.
