Madison - Marion T. Adams, age 53, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at her brother's home, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 3, 1957 to Martin and Helen (Theodossiadou) Adams in Madison. Marion graduated from Madison West High School in 1975 and then attended MATC. She was a charter member of CapitolAires Drum and Bugle Corps, marching in the drum line for 7 years. Marion was employed as the manager of Klinke Cleaners Sherman Ave location. Her dedication and commitment to this position earned her numerous ""Manager of the Year"" awards. She took great pleasure in riding her motorcycle on the open road in addition to skydiving and scuba diving. She loved reading, animals, playing guitar, being outdoors, and tending her flower garden. As a stockholder, Marion took a great deal of pleasure and pride in this year's Packer Super Bowl victory. Marion was an amazingly giving person, remaining deeply concerned about others even as her illness became increasingly serious. She touched innumerable lives in ways that she didn't realize. Marion had a special bond with her nephews, and was happiest when she could dote on them. She was blessed with a remarkable sense of humor and could make people laugh in any situation. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to HospiceCare, especially to Jess, Cheryl, Jennifer, David and Kendra for their exceptional compassion and concern during Marion's struggle.
Marion is survived by her mother, Helen of Madison; siblings, Chris (Katherine) Adams of McFarland, Lia Ellinide Adams of Madison and Brian (Eileen) Adams of Dodgeville; nephews, Christopher, Jeremy, Mathew, Marty, Richard, Mikos and Demetrios; Uncle Mike, Aunty Gila; cousins, Christos, Michael, Nicki (who's love and support was greatly treasured by Marion), Tina, Peter; and her cat, Spook. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin; and brother, Richard.
