Marion treasured her family and friends. Her favorite times were spent in Washington, D.C. with all its history, her Shorewood home in Madison, and her Florida residence in Bonita Springs, which she called, “Camelot.” She loved her family history and family gatherings. Marion especially looked forward to hosting family for Easter and Mother’s Day brunches at Blackhawk Country Club. She was always ready for a game of ping pong, bridge, or golf, as well as gardening and lunches with her many lady friends. She was a traveler and a caregiver who enjoyed making family cookbooks. Most of all, she was, “The Heart of the Family.”
