Marion Stoker

Sun Prairie - Marion F. Stoker, age 73, passed peacefully at home on February 27, 2014 surrounded by her family. Marion was born July 27, 1940 in Madison, Wisconsin to Robert and Veda Haas.

Marion is survived by her husband, Bill of 52 years; her three children, Rob, Scott (Erika) and Sally Benz (Bryan); her five teenage grandchildren, Haylea and Garrick Stoker of Missouri, Madeline and Sydney Stoker and Bryce Benz all of Evansville, WI; and her sister, Jan Bartel. She was a caring aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many others. She will be greatly missed by her loyal dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; her mother, Veda and her brother, Robert Haas.

Marion was a long time resident of Sun Prairie. She enjoyed motor home travelling with her family. She will be remembered for her love of Bingo and casinos. Marion became an avid golfer later in life and was a member of the Rider's Duffers Golf Group.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Habeeb and Nurse Christina for their care, as well as the staff of Agrace Hospice with special thanks to Nurse Kate.

A Celebration of Marion's life will be held at the Sun Prairie VFW Post 9362; 349 S. Walker Way in Sun Prairie on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
