Marjorie French Mjaanes

Marjorie French Mjaanes, age 97, died peacefully on December 7, 2008. She was born on September 25, 1911 in Kilbourn (Wisconsin Dells) to Arba and Adeline Fench. In 1932 she married Ledvin Mjaanes residing in Madison and later Beloit. Marjorie enjoyed a long, full life being with each new generation as her family grew. Marjorie loved traveling, baking, needle work and sharing her family heritage. She is survived by her children Rolf (Judith) Mjaanes, Linda (Roger) Leuty, Bruce (Cheryl) Mjaanes, and Kristine (Richard) Nelson. Marjorie is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to friends and staff at Four Winds Lodge and HospiceCare Inc.
