Marjorie Nelson

Stoughton- Marjorie Ann James Nelson, age 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016. She was born in Iron Mountain, MI on December 12, 1926, to Garnet and Alyce James. Marge graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton where she majored in Music. She is survived by her children, Julie Smay and James Nelson; grandchildren, Erik, Mazen, A.J., and Nelson; great grandson, Connor; and sister, Alyce Derwinski. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; daughter, Lori Lee Nelson; brothers, Robert and John James; and sisters, Ethel Barham and Betty Thomas. Memorial services will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Skaalen Home Chapel, 400 N. Morris Street, Stoughton, with Rev. James Koza officiating. A luncheon reception will follow. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at Skaalen. Please share your memories of Marge.
