Mark Adler

December 6, 1965 — July 30, 2017

WAUNAKEE-Mark Albert Adler, 51, of Waunakee, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 30. He was born on December 6, 1965, at just 2 pounds, 14 ounces, Mark's very survival defied the odds. From an early age, he was a voracious reader and excellent student, winning many academic awards over the years. He graduated from Middleton HS in 1983 as salutatorian, and attended MIT to pursue a degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He was a dedicated and respected employee for 24 years with Clack Industries.

Mark was a caring and compassionate son and brother. He was also a loving uncle, always leading by example with his gentle ways, patient teachings, and an unconditional love that will stay with his nieces and nephews forever. He will also be remembered for his witty sense of humor and willingness to engage in any discussion or debate. His passions included reading, puzzles, cooking, and caring for his family. He was an honest and kind man who treated everyone with respect.

He is survived by his father, Peter Adler; two brothers, Doug (Kathy) and Scott (Kira); one sister, Tracy (Goran) Tripkovic; five nephews, (Devon, Kyle, Ben, Nick and Alex); and three nieces, (Sam, Michelle, and Ana); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, AJ and Celia Adler and Roman and Esther Maly; his mother, Judy; and niece, Jenna.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug 4., 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St Peter's Catholic Church, 7121 County Trunk K, Middleton/ Ashton. Rev Tait Schroeder and Rev Bud Holfelder will concelebrate the Mass. Friend may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
