Mark R. Davis

Stoughton- Mark R. Davis, age 56, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 due to complications associated with his brain tumor. He was born on April 1, 1955 in Waukesha, the son of Rodney and Jeanette (Liddicoat) Davis. Mark graduated from Stoughton High School in 1973 and received a bachelor's degree from the UW-Madison. He worked as a computer networking specialist and consulted with many companies. Mark enjoyed model trains in which he participated in railroad shows at Olbrich Gardens at Christmas time and was actively involved in the Wisconsin Garden Railway Society. Mark was most appreciative of all his friends that helped in his time of need when faced with life challenges. One of the highlights for Mark was socializing in the bakery every morning with the well known ""Jerk Club"" and all of the invites to dinner, especially Friday night Fish Fry with a special friend. Another important meaningful friend accompanied Mark on vacation to Jamaica where they shared many good times. Mark enjoyed playing euchre with his sisters' family. We are truly grateful for all the real true friends that Mark had in his life. He is survived by his sister, Jill (Kent Wittwer) Molnar; and his children, Nicole and Jacob. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Cameron. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton with Pastor Levi Snyder officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of services Wednesday.
