Marlene Olsen

Marlene C. Olsen, age 90, of Madison passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021.  She was born on January 11, 1931 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Karl and Caroline Lukitsch.  She married Harold Olsen on July 1, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI.

Marlene loved the home she built with her husband, Hal, with a large yard perfect for the many family gatherings she hosted there.  She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, meeting people, and sharing her playful sense of humor.  She was a wonderful and supportive homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother, well-loved by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Hal, and her loving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

A family service was held at Cress Funeral Home on January 27, 2021.

She is laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison.
