Marline Whitson

Marline Whitson, age 80, the beloved daughter of Marvin and Arlene Doubleday, passed away on November 21, 2021. She was born in 1941 and was a lifelong resident of Madison. Marline received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin and dedicated her life to her career for the state of Wisconsin helping others. She will be remembered as kind, thoughtful, funny and a ferocious reader. Marline is survived by her children Forrest and Janine Whitson and niece Allie Whitson. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She will be laid to rest at Belleville Cemetery.
