Marno Stellmacher

Stoughton - Marno Jean Stellmacher, age 81, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2023, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton.  She was born April 13, 1941, in Fond du Lac to the late Bernard and Ruth (Teschke) Leu.  She married DuWayne Stellmacher on May 21, 1960, in Waupun, Wisconsin.

Marno attended cosmotolgy school in Madison, and later was employed by Skaalen Home for over 20 years as a CNA and Activity Aide.  She was active at First Lutheran Church and Partners of Stoughton Hospital in a variety of voluteer activities.  She and her husband enjoyed many years with their camping friends at Silver Springs Campground.  They also enjoyed many adventures and traveling. Visits to their children and grandchildren are especially fond memories.

Marno is survived by her devoted husband of over 62 years DuWayne; her childern Denise Jackson of LaFayette, GA, Julie Stellmacher of Oregon, Wi, and Steve (Patty) Stellmacher of St. Charles, MO.; granddaughter Leah Ortiz of Jacksonville, NC; and a great grandson Jewan Cobb.  There are numourous nieces and nephews and their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Ruth Leu,  her sister Iloa Angier, grandson James Holton and nephew Terry Angier.

A memorial servcie will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday March 31, 2023 at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 310 E. Washington St. Stoughton with Rev. Dick Halom presiding.  Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the service at the church on Friday.  A luncheon will follow the service at American Legion Post 59 in Stoughton.
