Mary Buhler

DeForest / Waunakee - Mary O. Buhler, age 78, died peacefully at her home on Wed Nov. 23, 2011 surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. The former Mary Wagner was born in Ashton on March 16, 1933 to William and Margaret (Brabender) Wagner. She married Edward Buhler in 1956 and together they farmed for 40 years. Family and friends will remember Mary for her love of children, cooking and gardening. She was a member of St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband Ed, and six children; John, Jeanine (Chris) Jesmer, Jayne (Keith) Kuhnly, Jeff (Jill), Jerry (Leslie) and Jackie (Dan) Healy; seven grandchildren Michael and Rachel Kuhnly, Emily Jesmer, Matthew and Bradshaw Buhler and Jacey and Coltn Healy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers John and Joe; her sisters Jeanette Endres and Catherine Kuehn and a daughter-in-law Jenny Buhler. Funeral services will be held on Monday Nov. 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church 5460 Mary Lake Rd, Waunakee. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 0n Sunday Nov. 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
