Mary Cartusciello

April 28, 1940 — October 23, 2024

Madison

Mary Cartusciello, age 84 of Madison, passed away suddenly on October 23, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1940, in Mauston, WI.

Mary worked for the Dane County Register of Deeds in Madison for over 15 years. She retired from the County, and later worked part-time at Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation.

Mary was a talented piano player. She played the organ for both St. Michael’s and Immaculate Conception Catholic Churches in Blanchardville, WI. She was an avid Badger and Packer fan and enjoyed watching a good football game. Mary cherished her friends and was blessed with the friendship of the same group of ladies from her school days in Blanchardville; they were a tight-knit group who loved playing cards and having fun together.

Mary is survived by her two daughters: Ann (Paul) Salzer of Minneapolis, MN, and Joan Kinzler, of Delafield, WI; grandchildren: Alexandra (Greg) and Sean Salzer; nieces: Christie Ace, Gail Rundhaug, and Shelia Coffey; nephews: Chad, Steven, and Michael Coffey; and many close friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ethel Coffey; brothers: Richard Coffey and George Fetzek; and daughter, Carol Jean Kinzler.

Special thanks to Rob Marks and Richard Hagen for their care and friendship.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 5460 Mary Lake Road, Waunakee, WI.

We welcome you to share your memories of Mary here on her tribute wall.
