Mary Dahmen

Waunakee: Mary Ann F. (Bram) Dahmen, age 89, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Waunakee Manor. She was born September 24, 1927, the daughter of Math and Anna (Schuetz) Bram in Springfield Township. She was united in marriage to Gilbert J. Dahmen September 25, 1947 at St. Martin Catholic Church . Mary Ann was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Springfield Homemakers, the Christian Mothers of Martinsville, and a long -time member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Mary Ann and Gilbert raised a family and worked together on the family farm. Mary Ann also liked to bowl, do needlepoint, paint pictures, create ceramics and was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. She also was an avid card player, and appreciated all her friends that came to visit and play cards at the Manor. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gilbert, her children; Ron (Jody) Dahmen, JoAnn Dahmen Ripp, Terry (Le) Dahmen, Gary (Jerilyn) Dahmen, Dean (Melissa) Dahmen, and Tim (Barb) Dahmen, 10 grandchilren and 18 great grandchildren, a brother in law Clarence, and sister in laws; Doris Dahmen, Carol Dahmen, and Louise Bram. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her son Doug, daughter in law Ann, 10 brothers, and 2 brother in laws and their spouses. A visitation will take place from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, July 21, 2017 at ST. MARTIN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5959 St Martin Cir, Cross Plains, WI 53528, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank the staffs of Waunakee Manor, and Agrace Hospicare for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Mary Ann's name.
