Mary Louise Davison

Madison -- Mary Louise Davison (nee Wright), age 81, died on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 9, 1928 to Arthur and Evelyn (Livens) Wright in Milwaukee. Mary graduated from Janesville High School in 1946. As a single mother, she obtained her master's degree in library science from the University of Wisconsin -- Madison in 1967. Mary was employed by the Madison Public Library until her retirement in 1990. Mary is survived by her daughters, Debra Levine of Turin, Italy and Diana Davison of Madison; her granddaughters, Andrea and Laura Levine of Turin, Italy; and several cousins, including Anita Koenig of Paradise, California and Willard Miller of St. Germaine, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Paape; her step-fathers, Howard Schroeder and Lawrence Paape; her brother, William Wright; and her father, Arthur Wright. Family will be having a graveside service at Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster, Wisconsin.
