Mary Dirienzo

Mary Jane (Engelhart) Dirienzo (78) passed away October 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Mary is survived by her devoted and faithful husband of 56 years, Clair, and by her children Diana (John) Kropac, David (Lynne) Dirienzo, Dawn (Vernon) Green, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Douglas and Daniel, her granddaughter, Christina, her parents, Herb and Lorena, her sister, Pat, and sister-in-law, Arlene.
We would like to thank St. Mary's Hospital staff, especially her nurse Jeremy. We also would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sue, Sister Georgeann, and all the Hospice staff for their loving care of Mary and our entire family.
Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 602 Everglade Drive, on Friday October 21, 2011 at 11:00 am, visitation at 9:45 am prior to service. The mass will be celebrated by friends of the family, Father Roger Nilles, and Father Don Murray. Luncheon will follow services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Hospice Care Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI, Catholic Relief Services, or Catholic Charities.
