Mary Ann Feltz

Mary Ann Feltz (Radtke), age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Sylvan Crossings beside her loving husband.  

She was born on May 4, 1947, in Portage, WI the daughter of George Henry Radtke and Rosellia Minnie Radtke (Spaude).  

Mary Ann married Glenn Arthur Johnson, Jr. in 1965.  They were married from 1965 to 1980 and together they had four children.   She married Roy Rex Feltz on March 26, 1983.    

Mary Ann raised her children and then worked at Ronlie’s Flowers in Madison; Sentry Floral, Sun Prairie; Neesvigs Meat Purveyors, Madison; RiteWay Bus Company as a bus driver of bus #29, Sun Prairie; and retired from a career at WPS Insurance Co. in Madison.  

Mary Ann loved flowers, enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family; she especially enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends Mike and JoAnn Bradley of Deforest.  Mary Ann and Roy had a special love for each other for 40+ years and were each other’s soul mates.  

She is survived by her husband, Roy Feltz; sister, Wanda (Stuart) Russell, Jr.; brother, Larry Radtke; children, Bren Radtke (Gary Strauss), twins: Karen (Paul) Nehring & Ken (Cindy) Johnson, and Jennifer (Mike) Fountain; grandchildren, Dustin Bolgrihn, Kendra Kron (Johnson), twins: Tyler & Caleb Johnson, Mitchell Nehring, Lydia Messmer (Sprain), Anyka Schultz (Sprain), triplets: Mariah (Schmitz), Micah & Kyla Sprain, Ryan Fountain, Cole Nehring and Casey Fountain; 12 great grandchildren, niece and God Child Carrie Biggin, and two stepsons, Jeff and Troy Feltz and their families.  

She was preceded in death by: George & Rosellia Radtke, Glenn & Gertrude Johnson, Sr., Glenn Johnson, Jr., Sheila Kay Haskins, Agnes Barrett, Helen Eulberg; Chet and Gertrude Feltz, Ron & Carol Feltz, Shirley & Milt Johnson, and Dennis Overacker.  

A celebration of life will be held on Mary Ann’s birthday, May 4, 2024 at Willows Tavern from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  

The family is grateful for the loving care of the staff at Sylvan Crossings and Brighton Hospice and especially Mary Ann’s Hospice nurse, Abby.
