Mary Howe

Mary Lynn Howe, age 84, died peacefully on November 7, 2021, with her children at her side. Mary was born on June 9, 1937 in Madison, WI to Peter and Vera Duehr. She grew up on Baker Avenue which was wilderness then; she had horses to ride and woods to explore. She attended school in Madison and Ferry Hall in Lake Forest, IL. She graduated from Boston University in 1959. On February 6, 1960 she married the love of her life, Timothy Myles Howe. She volunteered for many activities: at Orchard Ridge Elementary, Brownies and Girl Scouts, and Cub and Boy Scouts. She was an excellent cook and loved to tend the garden- she and dad grew such wonderful raspberries.
