Mary Lazzaro

Stoughton- Mary Lazzaro, age 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Nazareth Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 17, 1912, the daughter of Antonino and Francesca (Mancuso) Monachino.  Mary married Frank J. Lazzaro on March 25, 1933 who preceded her in death in 1981. Mary moved to Stoughton in 1983 to be close to her grandkids. She loved to cook and bake and share her creations with her family and friends. Mary was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and admired Brett Favre. She is survived by her sons, Frank, Jr. (Gail Bender) of Minerva, Ohio and Richard (Giovanna) of Stoughton; grandchildren, Steve of Largo, Florida, Cary (Dawn Ferland) of Stoughton and Darin (April) of Vancouver, Washington; and great grandchildren, Sofia, Max and Piper. Mary will be buried with her beloved husband at the Whitehaven Cemetery in Cleveland. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Nazareth for their kind care.
