Mary C. McCloskey

Mary Catherine (Lamberty) McCloskey, of Sun Prairie Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2024 at the age of 82 surrounded by family and friends. Mary was born on August 18, 1941, in Middleton, Wisconsin. 

Mary was the most loving, kind, and generous person to all who were fortunate to know her. Her family meant the world to her, especially her sons Jeffrey and Daniel, and her chosen great-granddaughter, Jordan. Mary cherished moments filled with love, laughter, and travel, creating lifelong memories with her sisters Rita and Jean, as well as her dear friend Jane. She also held a special place in her heart for her brother Vern and sister-in-law Yvonne. Mary was deeply grateful for the unwavering love and support of Rita, Jodi, Devan, Karen, Lisa, and Katelynn. 

She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Jodi Dushack) McCloskey, sister Rita (Reets) Lukas, brother Vern, and sister-in-law Yvonne Lamberty. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Don (Mac) McCloskey, infant son, son Daniel McCloskey, brother Rollie Lamberty and sister Jean Novak. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate the life of Mary Catherine McCloskey.
